Sudhin Shah, PhD., is an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience in the Department of Radiology within the Brain Health and Imaging Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her B.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University followed by a M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and a PhD in Systems Neuroscience from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences at Cornell University where she completed her postdoctoral training
as well. Dr. Shah is also the Scientific Director of cognitive recovery research at Blythedale
Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Shah directs a research program focused on identifying the individual specific
neurobiological mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments observed following adult and
pediatric brain injuries. Her lab conducts clinical translational studies in both adult and pediatric
brain injury employing clinically feasible neurophysiological tools (EEG, tDCS) alongside state-
of-the-art neuroimaging tools (MRI and PET ligand studies). The goal of her research efforts is to accurately diagnose, sensitively prognosticate, and track therapeutic interventions to
alleviate the tremendous acute and chronic impact of cognitive impairments post injury.
