Arlene Stoller

Arlene Stoller has worked in a multitude of states and practice settings, including the ICU, open heart operating room, emergency department, and as a flight nurse. She has worked at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC) for 25 years, with the last 22 of those in the Nursing Education Department. Her passion to improve care for the older adult led her to obtain a Master of Science degree from Boston College and become a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is a board certified Gerontological Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Dementia Professional, and has served as the NICHE Program Leader and Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist at LHMC since 2010. Arlene is a 2013 recipient of the NGNA Excellence in Gerontological Nursing APRN award and the 2021 Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Excellence in Professional Education Award. She presents on a multitude of geriatric topics both at the local and national levels. Serving as a NICHE Leadership Training Program Mentor for the past four years, Arlene has worked with both acute care and long term cares sites as they work to create and develop their NICHE Programs. Arlene also passionate of nursing continuing professional development and serves as a co-chair of the ANA Massachusetts Approved Provider Unit.
