Dr Sands is palliative care physician with research interest in delirium. We developed the Single Question in Delirium or SQiD, an investigator-led study that tested a delirium detection tool that leverages interaction between staff and families and carers. The SQiD is now in use in many centres in the UK. I'm interested in finding out more about how it can fit in to delirium detection and learning for example how it might prompt knowledge sharing amongst multidisciplinary teams and also for family and carers.
