Lisa is a Clinician Scientist & Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Mount Sinai Hospital & University of Toronto Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. She peer-reviews for multiple journals including BMJ, CMAJ, Crit Care Med, and Chest. She is currently the chair of Emergency and Trauma Medicine Editorial Board for Annals of Pharmacotherapy, and an editorial board member of Intensive Care Medicine. She is a clinical preceptor to numerous BSc, MSc, Doctor of Pharmacy students and pharmacy residents each year. Her research interest relate to pharmacotherapy in the ICU - in particular sedation, pain, neuromuscular blockade, & delirium. She is a PI for a RCT for melatonin for delirium prevention in the ICU. She is currently finishing a PhD at the faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto exploring the continuation of sedatives and antipsychotics for ICU patients after hospital discharge.
