Lei Gao is a neuro-anesthesiologist at the Mass General Hospital with a background in sleep and circadian physiology and computational neurosciences. His lab focuses on perioperative sleep and brain health, focusing on sleep and circadian rhythms disturbances as biomarkers and shared pathways for delirium and ADRDs.

He is currently the Clinical Director of the Medical Biodynamics Program and Faculty scientist at the Sleep Medicine Division of Harvard Medical school. He is currently the Clinical Director of the Medical Biodynamics Program at Harvard Medical School, and his work is funded by the NIA, FAER, and BrightFocus.
