Karly Mucks

Karly Mucks began her career as a licensed nursing home administrator in 2009 and spent 6 years executing, supervising, and being accountable for the overall financial, program, and business operations for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. With an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration and a master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Management, she joined Mayo Clinic in 2013, initially overseeing two of the regions nursing homes and assisted living facilities. In 2015, her role expanded to include supporting operations, regulatory compliance and accreditation for Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care. In her current role as an Operations Administrator, Karly was part of the core team assigned to standing up Mayo Clinic’s home hospital program in Northwest Wisconsin. In addition to her role at Mayo Clinic, Karly has volunteered as a national Malcolm Baldrige Senior/Lead examiner which has enabled her to pursue her passion for quality improvement and performance excellence.
