Dr. Eduardo Tobar, is 47 years old, was born and lives in the city of Santiago de Chile. He completed his undergraduate university studies at the University of Chile (1999), where he also specialized in Internal Medicine (2002). He then did his fellowship program in Adult Intensive Care Medicine at the Catholic University (2007). Since then, he has worked at the
Critical Care Unit of the Clinical Hospital University of Chile.

He is currently Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine, and works full time in the Critical Care Unit of the Clinical Hospital University of Chile, performing functions as a teacher of different fellowship programs at the ICU and researcher, his line of research being the areas of analgesia, sedation and delirium of the critically ill patient.
