Dr. Auriemma completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Brown University. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at the University of California in San Francisco. She then returned to Penn for her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine where she also obtained a Master's Degree in Health Policy Research. She is currently a Measey Physician-Scientist Fellow, attending physician, and health services researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. Her work focuses on the development and validation of patient- and family-centered outcomes for studies of critically and seriously ill populations. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two children.
